The copyright holder of the paper (hereinafter referred to as the
Author) hereby voluntarily transfers the copyright of the paper to the
Editorial Board of Modern Geoscience (hereinafter referred to as the Editorial
Board) on a global scale. The following terms are hereby clarified:
The Author guarantees that the paper is an original work, free from
plagiarism and does not involve any breach of confidentiality. In the event of
any infringement or breach of confidentiality, the Author shall bear all
responsibilities.
The Author guarantees that the paper has not been submitted to
multiple journals simultaneously and that the entire content or any part of it
has never been published in any other journal in any form. If the Editorial
Board discovers that the Author has engaged in multiple submissions, the
Editorial Board reserves the right to seek compensation for any losses caused
to the Editorial Board by the Author.
The Author guarantees that there are no disputes regarding the
authorship of the paper. In the event of any authorship disputes, the Author
shall bear all responsibilities.
The Author agrees to transfer the copyright of the paper to the
Editorial Board, including the rights to compile (in part or in full),
translate, reproduce in print and electronic formats, disseminate via
information networks, and distribute the paper.
The rights transferred under Clause 4 shall not be licensed by the
Author to any other newspaper or journal for use in any form. However, the
Author may cite (or translate) parts of the paper in subsequent works or
compile it into non-journal collections authored by the Author.
Upon final approval by the Editorial Board,
the Editorial Board will issue a letter of acceptance to the Author. If the
Author receives a rejection notice, this confirmation shall automatically
terminate. If the Author does not receive any decision from the Editorial Board
within three months, the Author may seek alternative publication options after
notifying the Editorial Board, and this confirmation shall automatically
terminate.
Prior to the first publication of the paper in Modern Geoscience (in
any form) edited and published by the Editorial Board, the Editorial Board will
charge a one-time page fee from the Author according to the Editorial Board's
fee standards. If the Editorial Board publishes the paper in other forms
subsequently, no additional page fees will be charged to the Author.
After the first publication of the paper in Modern Geoscience (in
any form) published by the Editorial Board, the Editorial Board will pay a
one-time remuneration and copyright transfer fee to the Author according to the
Editorial Board's standards and will provide a certain number of complimentary
copies of the journal. If the Editorial Board publishes the paper in other
forms subsequently, no additional remuneration or copyright transfer fees will be
paid to the Author.
Any other matters not covered herein shall be resolved through
mutual consultation between the parties. If no agreement is reached, the matter
shall be handled in accordance with the Copyright Law of the People's Republic
of China and other relevant laws and regulations.
