Abstract:

Based on the characteristics of geology and geochemistry, the Anji white tea in producing area was studied. The results show that parent rocks and chemical element combination in local soil have influenced deeply composition and characters of them.Because of different rock types, soil types, texture and pHs of the soils differ also, especially chemical elements of soils.K,Si,Al and acid soil markedly promote the growing and upgrowth of tea, and Ca, Mg, Na and alkaline soil make against boosting of tea quality. The leaves have high Se and Zn contents, and there is a pronounced positive correlation between biochemical composition of tea and their corresponding effective contents of K, P, S, Mn in soils. Therefore, this paper gives a suggestion that Anji white tea should be grown where sandstone-parent rock is distributed,in hilly country and mountain, eastern and middle part of Anji County.
